The Freedom of Libya

Freedom is independence of the compulsory will of another, and in so far as it tends to exist with the freedom of all according to a universal law, it is the one sole original inborn right belonging to every man in virtue of his humanity.

This, then, is the state of the union: free and restless, growing and full of hope. So it was in the beginning. So it shall always be while God is willing, and we are strong enough to keep the faith.

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

Freedom is independence of the compulsory will of another, and in so far as it tends to exist with the freedom of all according to a universal law, it is the one sole original inborn right belonging to every man in virtue of his humanity.

In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline.

There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere, and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountaintop of our desires.

I put a pray on Libyan people, to see a bright atmosphere exist at Libya. We are not gonna put down a tyrant to replace it with another tyrant!

Last but not least, I want to quote a reminder from one of journalist - Dr. Larbi Sadiki,
"Libya lives on, deservedly free and proud - and forever sovereign through their glorious revolution. But for them, too, the challenge is to institute a democracy that seeks neither self-glory nor returns to corruption and oppression."
